Ithaca College Gymnastics
During this semester I participated in Ithaca's Collegiate Gymnastics team. We spent a lot of this semester practicing and enjoying our competition season. I was unfortunately still injured but while working on my comeback I was able to assist my teammates with moving equipment they needed. Ithaca College this year was in charge of hosting the national competition.

GIAC Day Volunteer
This semester I volunteered for GIAC Day. It is a school program that brings elementary school children to Ithaca College to have fun. They get to participate in sports like swimming, basketball and gymnastics. I volunteered to help run a gymnastics obstacle course in the gym.

What Are You Calling Toxic?
During this semester I attended this online workshop. It was a small zoom with Jamie Warburton. We discussed how we can identify toxic behaviors and to understand the importance of communicating honestly. She also elaborated that it was ok to walk away from things that aren't working for us. This workshop was incredibly interesting and had me reflecting a lot on my past situations with toxic people.

Get it Together
During this semester I attended this workshop. Our primary point of discussion was about teamwork, team building, and leadership. We also discussed GRIT and how that can help us succeed. By building on the point of team work we did a lego building activity.

Feelings, Thoughts & Actions: Learning About Self-Regulation & Mindfulness
During this semester I attended this workshop. Our primary point of discussion was about mindfulness and how we can self regulate. Mindfulness works through (actions -> thoughts -> feelings). We also participated in mindfulness activities like the 54321 grounding technique (5 things you see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, 1 thing you can taste).
